Rudolfo Cruz Gonzalez, 50, of Los Fresnos,Texas passed away in San Marcos, Texas on Wednesday April 18, 2012. He is survived by his daughters: Chriselda  Leith (Casey) Camarillo and Amanda Renae Orndorff, parents Jose and Francisca Gonzalez, siblings David ( Leticia ) Gonzalez, Jaime ( Arlene ) Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez, Hector ( Marie ) Gonzalez, Eloisa Rodriguez, Juanita ( John ) Herbert, Maria Elena Gonzalez and granddaughter Sophia Grace Camarillo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 from 1:30 - 9:00p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Requiem mass will be held Saturday April 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with interment to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos. Condolences may also be paid to the family at www.sunsetfuneralhomergv.com. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home in Los Fresnos, Texas, (956) 233-6333.

Rudy was much loved here at Seton Medical Center Austin. He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him.

I worked with Rudy through Seton Shoal Creek.

Rudy was always caring and a joy to see walking the halls of Seton Medical Center. He was a blessing to all of us.I hope your family find peace and I will miss him.

All of us in the Plant Operations at Seton were deeply shocked and saddened with the loss of Rudy, as a co-worker. He never failed to brighted my day, and was liked and respected by the entire department. He will be greatly missed.

I WAS SHOCKED TO RUN ACROSS RUDY'S NAME IN THE OBITUARY. I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH RUDY. HE WAS ALWAYS SO QUIET. I'M JUST SORRY I LOST TOUCH WITH HIM. HE IS NOW WTH THE LORD UP ABOVE AND IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE. MAY THE GOOD LORD WATCH OVER YOU ALL (HIS FAMILY). AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU. MY CONDOLENCES.

My condolences to the Gonzalez family David I was in total shock when I found out!!! He was an awesome person so sad for God to take him so soon. :(
