Benigno “Ben” C. Martinez Jr., our beloved husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 1, 2012, He is preceeded in death by his son Benigno “Benny” C. III, his parents Benigno C. Sr., Gumecinda Martinez, 2 brothers, & 2 sisters. Ben Martinez leaves behind his loving wife Adelfa, of 56 years, 3 sons, Javier (Alicia), Homero (Patricia), Hector E. (Christina), 1 daughter, Arlene (Billy) Lopez, 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way.

          Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012, from 1 PM to 9 PM with a prayer service to be held at 7 PM at Sunset Funeral Home in Los Fresnos. A Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10 AM at Sunset Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville.

          Condolences may also be paid to the family of Benigno “Ben” C. Martinez at www.sunsetfuneralhomergv.com

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home in Los Fresnos. (956)233-6333

My sincere condolences to my tia Adelfa and the entire Martinez family. I was saddened to hear of my Tio's passing. May the good Lord comfort you all during this difficult time. Your family member in California ~Orfa~
